SWS Technologies Offices
SWS Technologies required a larger and innovative space to accommodate their growing internet business, and wanted a unique location and space. They selected the historic Showroom building at the Sears complex (now known as Southside). Originally constructed in 1914 with strong Prairie elements and ornamentation, this was one of the first buildings in Dallas in this style.
The building was designed by Lang and Witchell Architects, Dallas’ most prominent architecture firm in the early decades of the 20th century. The new interior for this building reflects both its historic fabric and the high-tech requirements of its current occupants.
The project received a Preservation Award from Preservation Dallas.
